The Paper

gideon

There's my photo from Monday, all you lovers out there. :]
I haven't had a spare moment since getting home Saturday night, so I'm sorry I haven't uploaded! I'm back on track now, though. So that's good.

The big news in my life is that as of today, the paper is done. It's kind of a relief but I kind of wish a lot of things had gone differently. Either way, it was a learning experience and I grew a ton. I also learned a lot about me.

Everything about today was kind of just, not.
The hall as I left the office after packaging it up for the last time smelled like lipstick not like when I was leaving after the first time when it smelled like rain. I had my iPod in and was listening to Dave (MusicFromBlueSkies) as I walked to class and it just kinda felt like I was the only one walking around. Which wasn't really the case.

It was raining today. The faucet in the girls' bathroom in the music wing was leaking. That made me sad. (The leaky faucet, not the rain.)

I was supposed to help two of my friends film a film for their film classes. (Wow, that was a lot of "film" in one sentence.) But the first one canceled on account of the rain and it being an outdoor movie and the second canceled the movie altogether. (Kind of sad, really. It was a sequel to a film he did last quarter. I'll have to upload it to YouTube if it's alright with him . . .)

Then, to top it all off, we had a bomb threat. Now, before you get all freaked out, they happen all the time. So much so that when and if the school really would be blown up I am pretty sure everyone would just mosey to their deaths. (Can you see the little light flashing? Those alarms are so very loud and obnoxious. I jumped when it went off, how embarrassing.)

I also almost ran over a chipmunk today. But I missed him. Thank goodness.

Wow, sounds like I've been busy.

Well, as in any situation my camera was by my side during the bit I was standing with friends before I left and here are today's photos of the day courtesy whoever didn't want to take their final and called in the bomb threat:

Here we have Roland.

And then Joanna.
